IV line on a forearm, blanket and book

What is IV therapy?

A drip is a bag of fluids, vitamins and minerals given through a thin, flexible line in a vein in your arm by a Registered Nurse. Your NP sets the criteria for every drip, and your RN stays with you throughout.

It’s a wellness service, not medical care. It doesn’t replace sleep, good food or your own doctor.

Six steps, no surprises.

Intake form open on a phone

Step 1

Book and fill in your forms.

You’ll get an intake form and a quick pre-consent, so your RN can come in and your NP can video in. Your RN reads them before arriving.

Drip or shot?

A shot

One ingredient, given by injection in the upper arm. A quicker visit.

A drip

A blend in a bag of fluids through a small IV line. A longer visit.

Best of both? Add a shot to any drip visit. No $50 shot minimum when it’s added to a drip.

Nurse’s note. Have bloodwork coming up? Tell us. Some vitamins, like biotin, can affect certain lab results.

Who it may not suit. IV therapy isn’t right for everyone. Some health conditions, medications and pregnancy can mean a drip isn’t appropriate. That’s exactly why we talk first. If we can’t safely give you a drip, we’ll tell you.
